I was given the opportunity to assist a senior design project team in completing their project in a timely manner. The project’s objective was to create a rover that could be used in an automated parking structure at a reduced cost compared to existing systems. I redesigned critical components of the rover including the drive shaft system, the pinching mechanism, and the electronics box. For this, I utilized Solidworks to refine designs and perform Finite Element Analysis on the critical components on the structure of the rover. Additionally, I lead the manufacturing of the rover where I used a mill, lathe, and cnc to complete parts.
