As a student in the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, I was given the opportunity to perform research my first year of university. Under Dr. Navdeep Dhillon in the Thermal Fluids STEAM-I Laboratory, I assisted in developing new techniques for the enhancement of phase change heat transfer in industrial applications. I assisted research in the effect of phase change materials on transient heating of impacting drops by performing drop-impact experiments and conducting numerical and CFD simulations.

“Transient thermal characteristics for a liquid drop impacting a hot PCM substrate”, Accepted for publication in Proc. ASME ICNMM 2018, Dubrovnik, ICNMM2018-7694
